Operations & Development

We've pushed the Permian Basin's economic limit using technology and innovation. Discover Iron Orchard Operating's active development programs and operational achievements across the basin, driving value creation through disciplined execution and operational excellence.

Operating Footprint

As Iron Orchard, we operate today in the Permian Basin and East Texas, and our earlier work reached north-central Texas and Mississippi. Our team's experience goes much further, spanning basins from Alaska's North Slope to the Gulf Coast and beyond, and we bring all of it to every asset we take on.

Anatomy of a U-Turn

A U-turn well drills out, turns 180° underground, and drills back alongside itself, reducing development costs, decreasing cycle times, and enhancing economics.

Vertically Integrated Operations

Iron Orchard Infrastructure

We operate the water and gas infrastructure supporting our own wells. Integrating infrastructure internally limits third-party constraints, costs stay predictable, and every barrel moves from the wellhead to its destination under the same discipline and monitoring we apply to every well.

01 · Water

Saltwater Disposal

Our saltwater disposal system handles the produced water from Iron Orchard wells. Company-operated gathering and Class II UIC-permitted disposal wells give us dependable capacity, predictable per-barrel costs, and direct control over uptime, with capacity to serve third-party operators in the future.

  • Produced Water Intake

Pipeline connections and facility integrations that move water between asset areas efficiently and keep our wells producing.

  • Injection Monitoring

Real-time pressure and volume monitoring with automated safety systems for regulatory compliance.

  • Environmental Compliance

Class II UIC permits, rigorous environmental monitoring, and mechanical integrity testing.

02 · Gas

Gas Takeaway

We gather, compress, and deliver associated gas from the wellhead to multiple midstream partners for processing and sales. We have also developed a robust gas lift artificial lift program from produced gas and interconnected facilities across different assets.

  • Gathering & Compression

Field gathering and compression sized to each development program, keeping line pressure low and wells producing.

  • Midstream Connections

Interconnects to third-party processing plants and residue markets that give every molecule a route to sale.

  • Flare Reduction

Real-time monitoring and automated flare detection that catches events early and allows operators to reduce flaring by deploying robust pressure management techniques.
